Overview
An animal AgTech company was commercializing automation and vision technology for protein production, a category where the audience for every raise spans venture investors, strategic corporates, and industry operators who each evaluate the opportunity through a different lens. As the company scaled from early development toward commercial deployment, each successive round demanded a new chapter of the story: the same technology, told at a new stage of proof, to increasingly sophisticated capital.
The Mandate
VERBED was introduced by one of the company's institutional investors, who engages us across its portfolio, and partnered with the team over several years and multiple financing rounds. We engineered the investor materials for each raise and supported the company's broader messaging as it matured, keeping the narrative consistent while the proof points, audience, and stakes grew with every round.
Outcome
The rounds closed, the technology reached commercial hatcheries, and in 2026 the company signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by a global animal health leader, one of its largest and earliest strategic shareholders, delivering an exit for the investors who backed it from the beginning. It is the arc every early-stage narrative is built to complete: from first capital to strategic acquisition.
